Law For Community Workers - Sessions at the Legal Services Commission - 17 and 31 August 2017 (City)

The Legal Services Commission have introduced a number of new, free legal information sessions specifically for community workers. Community workers can attend these in person at the Legal Services Commission in Gawler Place or join in via webcast. Each session is one hour, at lunch time (12.30-1.30pm). The sessions will cover a range of topics but the next two sessions may be relevant for workers who are members of the Pathways network - Family Law (17 August) and Child Support (31 August).

The Central Adelaide and Hills Partners in Recovery team at Life Without Barriers are currently undertaking a project to design resources to support people with a psychosocial disability to access to education, training and employment.

Life Without Barriers is seeking information from a diverse group of individuals to better understand issues facing people with psychosocial disability when accessing and maintaining education, training and employment. Feedback is being sought from consumers living with a mental illness, their families, friends and carers; as well as professionals working in this sector.

Each year the SA Dental Service offer over 20 Dental Assistant Traineeship Positions across the state (metro & country locations). Please find below links to the following information that you are able to utilise;

The eligibility criteria for our traineeship is;

  • 17 to 24 years of age or 17 to 30 years if Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. (We currently have 2 positions quarantine for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants).

Online applications will open 01/09/2017 to 22/09/2017 for a February 2018 start date, with a 12 month contract.
