Guess Who's Speaking At 'Attack Poverty, Not The Poor'? - 20 to 21 October 2017

Anti-Poverty Network SA's two-day Anti-Poverty Week conference has a diverse line-up of speakers from community groups, grassroots groups and NGOs from across the country. Here just some of the guests who will be joining in on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st October at Clayton Wesley Uniting Church, Beulah Park, for Australia's largest Anti-Poverty Week event:

  • DR JOHN FALZON, Chief Executive of the St Vincent Paul Society National Council.
  • TAUTO SANSBURY is a proud Narungga man from South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula.
  • LINDA FISK is the co-founder of Seeds of Affinity: Pathways for Women, an award winning, grassroots community group that supports women at every point in the criminal justice system. 
  • MICHELE JARLDORN is Chair of Seeds of Affinity: Pathways for Women
  • VALERIE FARFALLA is the events/training coordinator for the Australian Unemployed Workers' Union. 
  • DANIEL SPENCER is a Solar Citizens South Australian Campaigner and works as a community organiser with Repower Port Augusta. 
  • LEW WHEELER is co-convenor of Fair Go for Pensioners (FGFP) Coalition Victoria, an independent, non-profit coalition of community groups and unions advocating for social justice for people marginalised by income poverty and inequality. 
  • LIZ TEMPLE has been Regional Secretary of the CPSU (Community and Public Sector Union in SA for 7 years, and Deputy President of SA Unions for around 4 years.
