PEACE Multicultural Services (a service of Relationships Australia SA) in collaboration with Femfatales (NAPWHA) and SAMESH are holding an afternoon tea to highlight the importance of National Women Living with HIV Day. Join us for wonderful opportunity to meet, talk, learn and honour the women who live with HIV over a delicious afternoon tea.

CALD Women's Cancer Screening Ambassadors Project - Registration Form

Please find attached a Registration Form regarding the CALD Women’s Cancer Screening Ambassadors Project, which is to provide a structured Cancer Screening and Early Detection Education Program to a select group of women who represent CALD focus communities that have low breast, cervix and bowel cancer screening participation rates.

MCCSA Harmony Picnic in the Square - 26 February 2017 (City)

The Multicultural Communities Council of SA is hosting it’s Annual Harmony Picnic in the Square .  This will be a Free Family Fun Picnic on Sunday 26 February between 12-3pm at Whitmore Square. This event will be part of the National Harmony events which take place around Australian and the world. The message of Harmony Day is everyone belongs. It is a day to celebrate Australia’s diversity – a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home.  Check out last years event here.

The MCCSA Harmony Picnic Day will be filled with musicians, activities for all ages and it will be a celebration of South Australia’s diversity and social cohesion. The picnic will highlight some of the smaller ethnic communities showcasing their cultural expertise in the areas of dance and music, activities will also be provided for children. There will be a free BBQ provided by Adelaide Rotary and activities to try for all such as One Netball, SANFL and a jumping castle and face painting for children or even adults to try!

The aim of the picnic is to encourage all communities to engage with one another and to foster a strong community life by celebrating diversity and acknowledging the contributions that migrants bring with them to South Australia.
