Your needs and goals are our number one priority.
Every person with a disability is the expert in their own life. Our aim is to guide and support people – not to direct them. In doing this, we work in partnership with participants to formulate individual plans to assist in achieving everyday goals and future aspirations.
We can work with you to design and/or develop individual goal plans to support you to increase your own independence. Goals might include transport training, health, safety and managing money, (e.g. budgeting) or anything else you'd like to support you to live the life you want.
We can also support you to gain greater access and participation in the community by developing or maintaining personal and social skills along with the confidence necessary to enhance your independence and self-reliance, in the community. We will work with you using a true person-centered model for the types of skills you want to learn.
If you have a special interest or would just like to meet new people, we are able to develop social and interest groups around your own individual likes and interests. Groups meet regularly within the community and often include going out for dinner, seeing live theatre or music or enjoying local community events.
We can provide assistance to you with your personal care needs including evening and morning routines, showering, dressing, grooming and supporting you to prepare for your day.
We can come to your home, or place in the community – wherever you need it. We have experienced, trained and reliable support workers who can support you in this area. You choose the people you trust and feel safe around.
We can support you to live independently in your own home by assisting with cooking, cleaning, making the beds, pet care, grocery shopping, paying bills and other jobs around your house or garden.
We can match you with your choice of support worker who can assist you to travel to work, meet personal appointments or join in with your local community or social events.
We also provide respite and other tailored support to carers under both Individualised and NDIS funding packages.
All of our services are flexible, adaptable and customised to meet changing needs. We will also work around your schedule.
As a participant of our program, you will have a dedicated team of staff including your own planner and case manager, who will work with you to create the best support for and with you. We personally meet all our participants so you will always know exactly who is at the other end of the phone.
If you already have a preferred worker who supports you, we welcome you to bring them along with you so that your support can be continued without disruption in the way that you like it. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in targeted recruitment to meet your own needs, including writing a specific job ad or participating in the interview and selection process. Otherwise, we only recruit high quality support workers who genuinely have a passion for supporting people living with disabilities. We can provide a support worker match for you from our existing pool of disability specific support workers based on your interests and preferences.
