You might not call yourself a “carer.”
You might simply be standing beside a partner, child, parent, sibling or friend during a really difficult time.
If you are supporting someone who is experiencing mental and emotional distress, your role matters. And so does your wellbeing.
At UCWB, we understand that caring can bring love, loyalty and deep connection, but it can also feel overwhelming, isolating and exhausting. You do not have to carry that on your own.
Carer Support and Wellbeing offer free, personalised support shaped around what you need. That might mean having someone to talk things through with, help navigating services, or connecting with others who truly understand what this experience can be like.
We offer practical guidance, emotional support and clear information shaped around your needs, so you feel more supported, informed and connected in your caring role.
We will deliver that support wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that’s in our office, at your home or within your community.
Work with a dedicated Care Coordinator to explore what matters to you, set goals, and navigate support services confidently.
Join safe, inclusive groups where you can share experiences, learn new skills, and connect with others on a similar journey.
We’ll help you understand your rights, navigate complex systems and connect you with relevant services.
