Hoarding & Squalor

How Can We Help With Hoarding & Squalor?

Hoarding & Squalor is a sub-program of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), designed to gently support individuals who may be living with hoarding behaviours or in environments that have become unsafe.

Our team will work with you to determine what is important to you and remove the items that you do not require – we won’t come in and throw everything away. On the day, each item will be discussed with you and approved prior to removal.

We understand that these situations can feel overwhelming, and our goal is to help create a safer, more comfortable space, especially when it’s affecting your ability to access aged care services or putting your housing at risk.
