Disability and mental health support services

As a member of the Links to Wellbeing consortium, UCWB provides no-cost counselling support from a registered psychologist to people who are experiencing mental illness.

Support can include up to 12 psychological intervention sessions for people with mild, moderate, complex or chronic mental health issues. Supports can include:

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Relaxation and skills training
  • Interpersonal therapy
  • Psycho-education

Referrals to Links to Wellbeing can be made by the person seeking support, a friend or family member, a doctor or a mental health provider. No referral from a general practitioner is required.

Referrals are to be made to the central intake fax number 1300 580 249.

UCWB is a registered NDIS provider. We have partnered with other organisations to design and deliver individual, tailored in-home and community support services that span connecting to the community, learning new skills, personal care and getting help at home.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way to support people living with a disability. We are a registered NDIS provider and have partnered with other organisations to design and deliver individual, tailored in-home and community support services.

National Psychological Support Measure

The National Psychosocial Support Measure offers one-on-one coaching and group activities that support recovery for people with severe mental health issues, who are living in metropolitan Adelaide, and are not supported by the NDIS.
