Volunteer opportunities

Community Visitor Scheme volunteers visit people who are experiencing, or who are at risk of, social isolation or loneliness.

Community Visitor Scheme volunteers visit older people who are recipients of aged care packages or residents of aged care facilities.

Visits can be in a group at aged care homes or one-on-one at the homes of aged care package recipients. Visitors can just have a cup of tea and a chat, sit together to watch a movie or a sporting game or work or just spend time together. You may also like to be creative and work together on activities like games, craft or reading together.
