Support me to - find emergency & homelessness services

Funded by the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) our Inner Southern Homelessness Service (ISHS) is a regional homelessness gateway and service hub, which facilitates a combination of on-site, community-based outreach and in-home support.

Are you, or someone you know, homeless, or a at risk of losing your home?

Our service is based at Marion Road, Marion, and primarily operates across the Marion,  Holdfast Bay and  Mitcham council areas. However, we are not restricted to providing services to clients residing in these council areas – our service is available to all individuals based on their assessment needs.

Our professional staff are available during business hours to assist people who may be:

  • Homeless
  • At risk of losing their tenancy
  • Residing in a boarding house
  • On a waiting list for accommodation

We aim to help our clients achieve self-reliance and independence, assist in resolving crises and to re-establish their capacity to live independently of the service.

Additional services available to those attending ISHS:

Child Focus Support Program provides individual case management  to all children and young people attending ISHS. Children, young people, and their families are empowered to strengthen their own abilities by connecting with supports and a wide range of services. View brochure here.

Boarding House Outreach Support Program provides support and assistance to residents of boarding houses. View brochure here.

How else can we support you?
