Volunteer opportunities

Telephone Club volunteers make regular, friendly phone calls to connect with older people living in residential aged care facilities who may be experiencing social isolation.

Volunteers are provided with all the information they need and a quiet dedicated office at Bowden, in which to make the phone calls.

Telephone Club volunteers need have a friendly demeanor and the ability to relate to and build rapport with people from all walks of life.

This opportunity would suit the volunteer with strong communication skills and weekly availability.
