Matrix on Board is providing free skills development workshops for staff and volunteers in the emergency relief sector, and has subcontracted Lutheran Community Care to facilitate this training in South Australia. The training is ideal for anyone providing immediate financial or material support to people in financial crisis, including case managers, coordinators and volunteers working in crisis and emergency support, homelessness, mental health, vulnerable families, problem gambling, family violence, complex needs, marginalised communities, CALD and Indigenous.
Participants will network, share experiences with peers and learn new strategies in an interactive and enjoyable learning environment. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea is provided.

The seven week course is a unique journey that brings people together to learn from and support each other, helping to create networks of like-minded locals.

Women At The Table (WATT) held the first speed networking event in South Australia aimed specifically at professional women across industries. The event was a resounding success, with almost 100 women across a large range of industries attending. WATT is bringing back this event in 2018! Acknowledging that we are stronger together, WATT aims to build relationships between women across industries and occupations, and to explore opportunities for collaboration.

The Zahra Foundation ‘Open House’ – 11 April 2018
The Zahra Foundation are holding their first ‘Open House’ event inviting members of the community to visit their offices. They will be hosting a guest speaker from a community organisation or service provider each month to support women to access the information they need to become economically empowered.
