The Linker Network

The Linker service works to support people to plan for the future beyond surviving, to help people thrive, creating more connection to community, less financial stress and increased financial security.

About The Linker Network

The Linker Network is a service that was co-designed in partnership with people with lived and living experience of financial hardship. The Linker Network is designed to engage and support sole parents and carers and women over 50 experiencing financial hardship.

The service will assist people to find the things they need right now, as well as plan for the future.

The Linker Network is formed by five non-government organisations partnering together, based in metropolitan and regional South Australia, and funded by The Wyatt Trust.

What to expect

Linkers will walk alongside clients to map out tailored pathways forward, find and engage services and supports and link you into community networks.

Linkers will support client’s holistic needs – meaning all the many things that may be going on for them. Linkers will help clients identify goals and supports to achieve these. Client may be looking for help to navigate Centrelink, job providers, health services, aged care or NDIS. They may want support to find resources around study, work, parenting, well-being or self-care. Or They may want some support to manage the increasing cost of living or make stronger connections with your local community. Linkers will walk alongside clients to help them find the most appropriate services and resources and support to thrive.

If you fall outside of our catchment zone, you can access other government funded emergency assistance providers here.

You can also access UnitingCare emergency relief centres for food, clothing and essential items here. These centres are set up at Uniting Churches across Adelaide. If you contact any of the centres, please tell them that you have been referred by UnitingCare Wesley Bowden.

What the service is not

The Linker Network does not replace other services like financial counselling or case management. Linkers will link clients with relevant services and work collaboratively with services to support them achieving your goals.

Currently, we are accepting referrals within UCWB or clients can self-refer to the Linker Service. Link to the inquiry form here.
