Our caring Financial Health team provides a range of free, confidential and non-judgmental support for people who are experiencing financial difficulty.

No Interest Loans (NILS)
With no fees or charges, No Interest Loans (NILS) provide people on low incomes with access to safe and fair credit up to $1,500 and have repayments set at an affordable amount over 12 to 18 months. Available for essential goods and services such as fridges, washing machines, car repairs, and medical procedures. Not available for debt consolidation, holidays or bills, and not available as cash.
Low-interest loans between $800 and $3000 for people on low incomes. There are no fees and you can take up to three years to pay back your loan. Available for second-hand cars, white goods, computers, medical fees, furniture, solar panels and vocational education. Not available for debt consolidation, holidays or bills, and not available as cash.
Help to understand utility bills, identify concessions and opportunities to use less and save, look for better deals, and talk with companies to get a better, fairer outcome. To find out more visit their website.
Our Tax Help volunteers are trained and accredited by the Australian Tax office and provide a free and confidential service for people with incomes up to $60k, with simple tax affairs, to complete their tax returns online. Available between July and October.
